Description

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Mountains of Mist. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was A beginning."

Faile Bashere is a Character from the book series I'm reading called "The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan. This piece is for the "badassery" contest at :iconthe-wheel-of-time: .
I'm not sure this scene portrays general badassery , but I certainly think of Faile Bashere-Aybarra as one hell of a baddass. ...Of course I am only on book 6 , so I have a long way to go to find out her whole story..

"Something inside the cards
I know is right
Don't want to live
Somebody elses life
This is what I want to be
And this is what I give to you
Because I get it free
She smiles while I do my time

I could die for you
Oh this life I choose "

As of reading the books and having seen so many different interpretations of this character, it is by far the best. The only thing I have not been able to tell why it's used is the gladius sword. She always has daggers, never a sword, though this is still really good. I personally prefer action-y pictures, but her in this setting, with her eyes serene and off in the distance, showing action is anticipated. Her clothing matches almost exactly what I thought and the setting fits perfectly. I love this piece of art and will definitely recommend you to be seen by others.
